Richard’s and Inn at 500 Capitol Raved About in Luxury Travel Blog

In a recent article, luxury travel blogger Leah of The Modern Traveler, visited Boise, Idaho and stayed in the Inn at 500 Capitol. Throughout her stay, Leah documented her time and broke down every aspect of the stay, which included a lunch visit to Richard’s.

Here is a snippet from her article,

“Connected to Inn at 500 is Richard’s… accessible right through a door off the lobby. Richard Langston is a celebrated chef in Boise, and we dropped by to sample lunch.

I had the Grilled Portabella with Carrot-Cumin Puree and Fried Haloumi on Ciabatta and my son had the RBLT, a different take on the BLT with Bacon, Tomato, Mozzarella, Basil, and Red Onions on a Toasted Baguette with Summer Salad instead of chips. I have to remember to put strawberries in my salads at home because it’s a wonderful summer flavor, and I liked the pairing with the lemon vinaigrette. Richard’s provides room service and food for guests at Inn at 500 and serves breakfast and dinner too.”

We’re celebrating summer in Boise by tasting rosé! Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and seven (7) 2.5 oz. pours of beautiful rosé. Our wine experts will be on hand to describe each different rosé: country of origin, grape varietal, and tasting notes. Chef Richard will prepare hors d’oeuvre to enjoy along with your wines.

Our Rosé Party will be on the second floor Plaza at the Inn at 500 Capitol–right above Richard’s on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. The Plaza is typically reserved for hotel guests and catering functions only, so this is a special opportunity to enjoy wine and apps on this fun outdoor space.

Bottles of rosé will be available for sale at special prices, so you can take a few bottles home to enjoy on your own patio!
